Rivalry “fired up” for Michigan, OSU

Just when we thought the rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan couldn’t get anymore intense, it has reached new heights over the last few days and the schools are going to have to weight a few more months to settle it between the white lines.

Back in February, the Michigan Wolverines received a verbal commitment from one of, if not the top offensive lineman in the 2013 draft class and perhaps the entire country.

The 6’7”, 320 pound Logan Tuley-Tillman. National Signing Day isn’t even here yet and it’s a safe assumption to say the big man will honor his verbal commitment and be playing football for Brady Hoke’s Wolverines in the fall.

The picture above is indeed a letter from Ohio State, which just happens to be in Tillman’s hand and also on fire. It’s recruiting, and while Tillman has already announced his attentions for next year, it won’t be official until early 2013 when he can sign his letter of intent.

Tillman posted this photo on his Twitter page with the hashtags #goblue and #beatohio and likely instantly became loved and hated by millions at once.

Now that’s talent!

Anyone who thinks the best rivalry in collegiate sports has lost its intensity is misguided, especially after this “fire starter”.
